Some examples of Garden Designs that I have also installed below.

Supergarden and Bloom were both done with additional landscaping labour from CAFRE. The mushroom sculptures are from Managhbeg Mushrooms. The private garden paving and concrete work was with McCalmont Bros. Banana Block was aided by volunteers from the East Belfast Partnership.

RTÉ SuperGarden – Winner

(Aired 2022) Task was to create a family garden, with no lawn, for a family of 5, with 2 dogs. The client wanted a fairy/natural feel. I used an ombré effect on the walls to enhance the bare concrete and add depth. The tree cover shielded the garden from overlooking windows and created an instant ‘forested’ effect.

Bord Bia ‘Bloom’ – Bronze Medal

A further developed version of the Enchanted Playland. Creating a natural feel family garden, with elements that the public could implement into their own gardens, enhancing the biodiversity and using as natural materials where possible.

Banana Block

Tropical feel scheme, using plants that would survive in Belfast’s northern climate, to rejuvenate the planting, improve the soil health, and enhance the existing banana plants. All indoors and within all movable planters. Included ‘Olla pot’ systems for natural irrigation and in-bed wormeries.

Private Garden

Compete renovation of rear country garden. Porcelain pavers and re-paved some existing slabs. New pathways and plenty of natural-feel planting. Last 3 images are ‘before’ photos
